“I’m so glad I chose Austin Canine Rehab for Bentley’s recovery after his IVDD surgery. The therapist showed me how to do exercises, stretches, and massages that helped Bentley regain his balance and strength. The added bonus is that ACR is mobile, making it convenient and flexible for my schedule. In the end, Bentley walked away with flying colors! We’re so grateful for their dedication and care.”

Do You Have an Underwater Treadmill (UWTM)?

We do not use an underwater treadmill at Austin Canine Rehab. While we understand that this form of treatment has become popular, and recognize that it has its uses, we prefer to use land-based exercises that will help your dog build strength.

How Much Does Canine Rehabilitation Cost?

The best way to determine how much rehabilitation will cost at Austin Canine Rehab is to reach out to us directly to provide some information about your pet. With our contact form completed, we will be able to inform you on important topics like cost and availability.

How Long Does Treatment Take?

We can’t assign a specific timeline to your dog’s treatment without having the opportunity to evaluate their condition and develop a recommended rehabilitation plan that will address the needs of your dog for both short and long-term improvement.

What Happens If My Pet Needs to Have Surgery During Our Treatment?

If it is determined by a veterinarian that your pet needs to have surgery, we will be able to adjust our treatment plan to adapt appropriately to that development. Our rehab services can be an excellent post-op treatment to help your dog get on the road to health as fast as possible.

What Are Some Things We Can Be Doing Between Now and the Evaluation?

While you are waiting for your evaluation date to arrive, it’s important to do your best to care for your dog properly. If he or she is in pain, avoid activities that seem to trigger the pain and offer comfort whenever possible. Also, maintaining a healthy diet is always a good step to take.

What Does Your Success Rate Look Like?

We don’t track a specific “success rate”, as success looks different for each dog that we treat. However, we are proud to say that we are able to achieve outstanding results for the dogs that are trusted to our care, and you can view some of our testimonials that speak to the outcomes we’ve reached.
